Our Demo Teams
Uni-T, Divini-T, Infini-T and Danslab Zuid are our 4 demo teams in the styles of hip-hop, heels & entertainment, modern, contemporary and folk mix. To be a part of these teams, you must audition at the beginning of the academic year in September or during the semi-annual auditions (the semi-annual auditions may not take place for each team). Keep an eye on our Instagram (@tsdvdancenation) to be updated on this!
They are all teams composed of advanced dancers who train more intensely as they prepare for shows they are hired for, performances and competitions. They train for at least 1.5 hours a week in their own designated time slot in our dance class schedule. Only members of these teams can attend the trainings and they must all have a DanceNation membership (on top of their Tilburg University Sports Center Membership) as this allows them to carry the DanceNation name at competitions and events and wear the DanceNation Demo Team hoodie at these events and these events only.
Uni-T
Hip-hop
The combination of the words University and Tilburg form what the team represents: Unity. These dancers train twice a week with trainer Claudia Wilmans. The styles she teaches range from popping, oldskool, to dancehall and more. The team competes in competitions (such as UDO, HHI, HHU, Shell We Dance and more!), performs on stage, and makes cool concept videos!
Divini-T
Heels & Entertainment
These dancers train once a week with trainer, Anna Shekiladze on heels technique, execution, and choreography. The dance styles she teaches vary between commercial and showdance. Besides that, they also provide performances, such as GOGO assignments, workshops, and hostess work, create concept videos and organize team outings.
Infini-T
Contemporary
They train once a week with Konstantina Georgiadou and Maria Moschou! They teach and dance modern styles, from floorwork to lyrical and much more. They participate in competitions, showcase spectacular choreography during performances, and film concept videos!
Danslab Zuid
Theatre dance
Danslab Zuid is a dance group where passionate and talented dancers explore their artistic abilities and develop and take their physical dance skills to the next level. This team trains once a week with trainers Annette Waterschoot and Anna Shekiladze. The diverse influences on Danslab Zuid come from contemporary, modern, ballet and folklore dance. The group works on video projects, theatre performances and dance competitions.
