Frequently Asked Questions - Memberships
You can click on this link to become a member. All you need to do after that is fill in the Google Form and pay! That’s it! You are now a DanceNation member!
We have two sign out periods: In December/January (to sign out before the second semester) or July/August (before the beginning of the new academic year). We cannot sign you out at any time of the year so please be sure to sign out during these periods and only during these periods. To sign out of being a member during these periods you need to send an email to secretaris.tsdvdancenation@gmail.com and state that you would like to end your membership. You will get at least one notice each time these sign out periods come so you don’t need to worry and you just need to keep an eye of your email with which you signed up with so that you can sign out in time.

No you cannot. This is a workshop slot dedicated to only our DanceNation members. Our workshops feature unique dance styles taught by experts of the said style. This is a unique offer we have only for our DanceNation members, so become one to benefit from these workshops!
We offer one workshop per month! All you need to be able to participate is have a DanceNation membership and a Tilburg University Sports Center membership.
Once you have both of these you just need to sign up to the workshop on the Tilburg University Sports Center app (select the category “Dance” and the location “Tilburg University Sports Center” and sign up!) and also sign up on our Google form for said workshop which is sent on our DanceNation Members WhatsApp groupchat and is also the workshop announcement story on our Instagram (@tsdvdancenation) in our “Upcoming Events” highlight. Remember to sign up with both the app and the form!
All you need is a DanceNation membership! You don’t need a Tilburg University Sports Center membership for our activities unless specifically stated (for example, activities at the ice skating rink or at the swimming pool may require you to have a Tilburg University Sports Center membership).
Some activities require you to sign up via our Google forms, so be sure to do that! You can do this via the link sent on our DanceNation Members WhatsApp groupchat for the activity which can also be found on the activity announcement story on our Instagram (@tsdvdancenation) in our “Upcoming Events” highlight.
No you don’t need one! For the demo team open classes you just need a Tilburg University Sports Center membership. You also don’t need a membership to audition to a demo team! But if you audition for a team and get accepted, once you are accepted and are confirmed to be in the team you will need to purchase a DanceNation membership too as you will be representing DanceNation with your team and the membership allows you to carry our name and wear our DanceNation Demo Team hoodie at the events, performances and competitions you go to as a team.
No you cannot as the committees are only for our DanceNation members. So, join to be part of the association and be in a committee to help us out while gaining CV experience!
Of course! The only requirement to join a committee is to be a DanceNation member! No prior experience is needed which is why it is the perfect place to gain experience! Keep in mind that special committees like the Financial Committee do need you to have some financial experience, but this is stated and will be repeated to you when signing up, so unless stated, you don’t need any prior experience!
