In this rendition of our annual showcase, “The Dance of Gaia”, we celebrate the beauty and diversity of Earth, going beyond geographical boundaries to explore the rich tapestry of life, elements, and cultures, through the expressive art of our various dance styles.
Our showcase brings different levels and dance styles together under one theme. Our members, from beginners to advanced, share a stage and get the chance to showcase their hard work throughout the year. We organize a final show to offer our members a stage to show their talent, dance qualities, and hard work from the year.
In addition, we offer young choreographers the opportunity to express their creativity and ideas through a choreography that they can show to a large and wide audience. We would like to attract people who are close to our members, such as family and friends, and also create awareness for our association among the large student population Tilburg.
Throughout the year you can follow the dance classes in the Sports Center and then choose with which classes you want to perform in the showcase. When we get closer to the show, we hold 1 or 2 rehearsals every week for each dance group that participates. In addition to the regular classes you follow, you can also audition to perform with your own choreographies. Through these contributions, we get even greater diversity in dance styles and more chances to show our authenticity.
